Personally love this shot4th of July, Wednesday. Finally a holiday for us! With no doubt, I took this opportunity to visit the farms and lakes around Oregon again. This time I visited the Lavender Farm in Hood River. That was around 1 hour 45 mins drive from Hillsboro. The view there was awesome due to the great sunny weather. Love the colors there! 🙂

The Most Unique Road…

Rowena Crest30th of June, Saturday. Today’s weather is cloudy, but still I wanted to relax myself a bit, so I visited this scenic state park of Oregon: Rowena Crest. It is actually the upper portion of Mayer State Park. From there you can see the scenic Columbia River Gorge as well. A very nice place to stroll around.

I also took the McCall Point Trail, hike like 2-3miles up the hill. I actually expecting to see some beautiful wild flowers along the trail, but too bad I was too late. The blooming season is over. 🙁 Only some purple flowers can be seen.

22th of April, Sunday. This is the day, that we’re going to start our journey, yes, I called it Journey of Wonders. Why? Because we’re going to witness a lot of wonderful and amazing scenery along our journey. 🙂 Well, in fact, due to National Park Week, I sort of planned this trip in 2 days. 😛

My First Ever NBA…

11th of April, Wednesday. Tonight I finally got a chance to watch my first ever NBA match: Portland Blazers vs. Golden State Warriors! 🙂 I got the free tickets from my company’s GPTW events. Anyway, this is my first NBA live match @ Portland, Rose Garden Arena. Well, I am not really a NBA fans, but watching live match was completely different than watching on TV. You got to ‘feel’ the crowds, the shouts, and not to forget those funny ‘supporting’ clips that they put on the LED panel whenever the host team scored. It was a good match though, because everyone got free ‘Chalupas‘ from TacoBell as long as Blazers scored over 100 points. 🙂 GG!
