The Black Friday is on the way…

“Black Friday”, this is the term that I’d learn over here recently. Do you know what it actually means? 😛 Initially I thought it was an ‘unfortune day’ for Americans, but it doesn’t really mean that. In fact, it seems to be a good day for them. Here are some FAQs that I’d copied from some sites, and of course a wiki:

What is Black Friday?　什麼是黑色星期五？
Black Friday is a nickname for the day in which most retailers go from being red (not overall profit) in their books to black (profitable!) Traditionally this has happened close to the holiday buying season.
黑色星期五只是個花名而以，這一天通常都是許多的商店開始從赤字（虧損）轉為黑字（盈利）的時候，因為許多商家通常都在年尾靠近季節性的假期時候，銷售率都比較好。所以，黑色星期五，就是因為那＂黑字＂而來的啦。也因著這樣，在黑五的前後幾天，大多數商家都會舉辦促銷活動，而且還是很誇張的促銷，有些甚至可以是虧本來賣。

When exactly is Black Friday?　什麼時候才是黑色星期五？
The Friday after Thanksgiving. This year it is November 26th, 2010
黑色星期五就是在感恩節過後的星期五。而今年感恩節過後的星期五就是十一月的二十六日。（至於什麼時候是感恩節，請自己谷歌一下吧）

最近的一個星期裡面已經有很多的商家廣告預先被洩露出來了，他們通常都只會在感恩節前夕才分發的。我大概看過所有的廣告，的確有些商品還真的蠻吸引人的。我也把它們放上來了，如果大家有任何需要的話，可以告訴我，我會盡量去“爭”取的，雖然我還不懂要如何去 😛
