21st of May, Saturday. It was a great weekend with my buddy. Well, at least I tried this legendary cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory! Over the past two weeks, some of my colleagues in Penang came over here for an event. You can’t imagine how they shop over here. I was kind of ‘amazed’ by the fact that guys can shop more ‘fierce’ than gals. =.=

五月二十一日，星期六。這個週末真的很不一樣，至少我嘗試了這個“傳說中的美味芝士蛋糕”，是由這裡附近的一個“芝士蛋糕工廠”所製作的。在過去的兩個星期內，從檳城來了很多的同事，他們都是來出席這裡所舉辦的特別活動。你絕對無法想像他們是多麼地厲害購物。最意外的是我發現到原來當男人發起購物狂，絕對不輸女人！

9th March, Tuesday. Today, my Taiwanese colleague I.D suddenly invited me to his house for a dinner. I asked him why so sudden, and he said nothing, just a normal dinner. Well, of course I said OK, I wouldn’t want to miss the chance of tasting his wife’s home cook meal, heard that his wife is a good cook. 😉

三月九日，星期二。今天，我的台灣同事突然間問我要不要到他家吃飯。我就奇怪怎麼那麼突然啊？他說沒什麼啊，就平常那麼一頓晚餐，到他家去一起享用。他那麼有誠意，我當然也就答應了，而且聽說他老婆很會煮，就當然不放過這機會了。;)

4th March, 2011. Friday. I was just arrived at home from work. My phone rang. I.De (my taiwan colleague) called me up for a dinner with a friend of him, which is also from Penang, Malaysia as well. To try get to know more people, I had no reason to reject that invitation. Well, they decided to hang out at the “Buffalo”. That was my first time being there. Heard they were renowned by their “wings”, came with many different flavors.

三月四日，星期五。今天我如常回到家後，準備休息一下，就接到 ID 的電話，說是否要一起到“水牛”的餐廳一起用晚餐，原因是他有朋友從馬來西亞過來拜訪他，而且也是檳城人。我當然也沒什麼理由拒絕，就一起到了這個“水牛”去吃晚餐，聽說他們最出名就是燒雞翼，“燒雞翼～我自小鍾意吃～”。 😛

27th February, Sunday. This is my lunch today, Golden Fried Rice. The reason why I came up with this is because I got around 3 egg yolks left over from yesterday’s cake baking. So, not to waste them, I used them for the fried rice. In fact, I purposely cook the rice yesterday, and keep them overnight for today. This is one of the technique to make the rice separated and not sticky. Then, to make the rice ‘golden’ in color, of course is to mix them with the eggs. Well, this is how I made my lunch. 😉

26th February, Saturday. Initially wanted to try baking a chocolate cake, but found this lemon butter cake recipe, which seems to be quite nice. So, I tried this out instead.

二月二十六日，星期六。今天本來是要嘗試烘個巧克力蛋糕，但是卻看到了這個檸檬牛油蛋糕的食譜，感覺好像蠻不錯，於是就先試著烘了這一個。
