The Legend of Golden Fried Rice
27th February, Sunday. This is my lunch today, Golden Fried Rice. The reason why I came up with this is because I got around 3 egg yolks left over from yesterday’s cake baking. So, not to waste them, I used them for the fried rice. In fact, I purposely cook the rice yesterday, and keep them overnight for today. This is one of the technique to make the rice separated and not sticky. Then, to make the rice ‘golden’ in color, of course is to mix them with the eggs. Well, this is how I made my lunch. 😉
二月二十七日,星期日。今天的午餐,就是這看起來蠻不錯的“黃金炒飯”。哈哈,我會做這炒飯的原因是因為昨天做蛋糕時有剩下幾粒蛋黃,為了不浪費它們,就唯有把他們拿來炒飯用了。常常在漫畫或動畫中看到那些誇張的“黃金炒飯”故事,其實還真的有那麼一些秘訣,就是飯,要隔夜的冷飯,然後就是蛋,要讓每一粒飯都沾上蛋汁,那麼出來的炒飯就是粒粒分明的“黃金炒飯”了。嘻嘻,這炒飯的味道還算不錯啦,雖然人有點熱氣,但是還是吃完了,看來要找些涼的東西來解熱了,哈哈。
