The son that rises…

14th November 2010, Sunday.
I woke up early in the morning and prepared myself for an important appointment. 🙂 Yea, I had an appointment with Him in this place: Sonrise Church.

星期日，十一月十四日。我一大早就起身準備要去赴約了。那是一個很重要的約會。對，就是與祂的約會。:) 在這個特別的地方：Sonrise Church。這間教會坐落在我家的對面街而已，不需要五分鐘就可以到了。當我駕入停車場時，就有個弟兄在指揮我方向。我想那應該就是他們的交通事工吧。我是出席早上九點的崇拜，八時三十分我已經到了。

The church is located opposite my housing area. Within 5minutes I can reached there already. There was a guy directing me when I was driving into their parking area. I guessed that was their traffic ministry. I was attending their 9am service, and I reached there around 8.30am. The people was still coming in.

就在我進入教會後，就有個弟兄招待了我，帶我到資訊的櫃檯，給了我一些的單張，和一本小小的書：”多好才算好”。那位弟兄也大致介紹了教會的事工和背景讓我知道，也告訴了我應該要如何才能與教會有連接。而且還給了我一張固本，可以到他們的咖啡櫃檯換取一杯咖啡。:)

As soon as I entered the building, I was being welcomed by an usher, he brought me over to the Information Counter. And then talk to me briefly about the church, ministries, and how to get connected and so on. I was given a few brochures, a pocket size booklet “How Good is good enough” by Andy Stanley, and also a coupon to redeem a cup of coffee free from their cafe counter. 🙂

崇拜很準時在九點就開始了。但是今天早上的崇拜人數好像也不是很多，大概只有兩百到三百人吧，畢竟座位也沒有坐滿。他們告訴我教會人數能達到兩千人，我想應該是所有崇拜人數的總和吧。今天的崇拜真的很好，主理牧師：約翰牧師今天的教導就是如何尊重及珍惜別人，尤其是那些在我們身邊默默付出的人。而且，崇拜的敬拜讚美也很棒，很好的環境，很好的音響，真的享受在其中。:)

Precisely 9.00am they started the service. There wasn’t much people today at that time. Though they told me they got a congregation of over 2000 people which I think should be combining 3 services together. 🙂 The service was great. The leading pastor, Pastor James was preaching on today’s message: “Honoring One Another”. In fact, the praise & worship session was great too. Enjoyed the moment of worships. 🙂

崇拜在一個小時後就結束了，感覺有點快呢，哈哈。不過，我想最重要的還是他們的小組活動，看看下個星期如果有機會就可以去他們的小組看看，應該會有很多的學習吧，嘻嘻。:)

The service ended an hour later, feeling a bit fast some more, haha. But I think the most important is to see how their cell group worked out. I’ll try to get a chance to their cell group and have some learning there. 🙂
