Oregon Coast Trip

25th of June, Saturday. Summer is here, and Oregon is full of summer events and activities. You can’t imagine how Americans love summer. One of it is this: Kite Festival @ Lincoln City! This is also the second time I went to Oregon west coast. It’s a 2hours drive from Hillsboro though.

六月二十五日，星期六。夏天到了，美国人还真的蛮喜欢夏天的，所以这里可是一大堆的夏天活动和节目哦。其中一个就是这个：风筝节庆！这节庆是位于俄勒冈西北边的林肯城市海边。这也是我第二次去俄勒冈西海岸，从这里去差不多要两个小时。

Approaching Lincoln City you’ll see different kind of ‘balloons’ floating on the sky near the beach. This is the first time I saw so many ‘balloons’. Some of them were playing kites on the beach. Looks really fun to me, since I had not kite after my childhood I guess. 😉

当你驾入林肯城市时，就会开始看到很多不同的风筝在天上漂浮着。这也是我第一次看到这么多风筝，各样各式，蛮特别哦。有些人还在沙滩上放风筝，好象很好玩哦，毕竟已经好久没放风筝了，应该是童年以后就没了。

After the Kite Festival, we proceeded up north to the Astoria Column. This tower is a famous landmark of Astoria. The history of Astoria had been crafted on the tower. Really interesting, especially you can actually climb up to the top and enjoy the scenic view on top. 😉

过后我们就一路往北，就来到了阿斯托里亚的地标：阿斯托里亚高塔。这高塔还有点特别，塔身上都刻满了不同的图案和文字，见证着阿斯托里亚城市的历史。而且你还可以从塔底沿着楼梯上去直到顶端，可以看到整个阿斯托里亚城市的景观，还真的蛮不错哦。;)

After enjoying the breeze on top, we continue our trip to the beach. Well, for the sake of seeing this: Ship Wreck @ Fort Stevens State Park, which sank off the coast of Oregon some years ago. You still can see the remains of the ship on the shore.

在上面吹完风后，就继续往最后一个景点出发：阿斯托里亚的沉船遗迹。这遗迹是其中一个蛮著名的公园胜地。你可以看到沉船的其中一个部分，而大部分都已经埋在沙里面了。不过可能这样的构图还蛮有feel吧，所以那天还看到有新娘新郎在那里排结婚照，哈哈。

Now that concludes my second visit to the coast of Oregon. Summer is fun here, because the temperature is still around 25+- Celsius at peak, which is really nice. Somemore the sunset is around 9pm now. The day is so long that you might be ‘cheated’ and think that it is still early. >.< 这一次的西海岸之旅就到这里告一段落。总之这里的夏天不寂寞就对了，一大堆的夏天活动，最高温度25度左右，还有超长的白天（日落大概在九点以后），真的还会忘记时间，以为还很早呢。
