Tsunami Hazard Zone

8th of April, Friday. Today I am off for 1 day. The reason is because we’d been working hard for these few weeks with the Israeli colleague, and now he’s back already. Time for us to take a day off, relax and ready for the next planning. Initially I didn’t plan to go anywhere, but my colleague suddenly asked me whether want to join him go to West Coast. Well, since I’ve never been there, let’s go. 😉

四月八日，星期五。今天算是一個很特別的假期，因為我們沒有上班，原因是我們已經忙了將近一個月，和那位以色列來的同事一起工作。現在他已經回去了，我們也終於可以放輕鬆一天，休息後再繼續我們的工作計劃。本來休假我也沒打算要去哪兒，同事突然間邀我去西海岸，想著沒去過，就去看看吧。;)

Weather was really nice. Before we proceeded to the West Coast, we went to the Tillamook Cheese factory for a visit. Not as big as expected, you can see how they wrapped the cheese that being produced through the windows. They made ice-cream too. Tried their ice-cream over there, $4 for 2 scopes, expensive huh. >.<

今天的天氣也很漂亮。在我們還沒到西海岸前，我們去了蒂拉穆克的芝士工廠。沒有我想像中的大。遊客們可以透過玻璃窗觀看他們如何把那些做好的芝士一一打包起來。他們也有製作雪糕，在那裡可以買到他們特製的雪糕。試了一支兩球的雪糕，美金四塊，還真的很貴。>.<

It took us like 1 hour+ to reach the Cannon Beach @ West Coast. Along the journey, you can see many scenic views, from up at the mountain, until you reach the beach. Although the sky was so blue, the sun was shiny, but it was windy as well. Really freezing cold. We stayed there for like 2 hours+, wanted to shoot for the sunset, but too bad it was so cloudy at the time of sunset, can’t even see the sun. Really disappointed, but that was a nice trip though, definitely wanted to go for second time, maybe stay there for a night would be nice too. 😉

從那裡到“大砲海灘”大概要一個小時左右。沿途你可以看到很多很美的風景。西海岸還真的蠻大的，從山上一路下到海灘那裡，都有很壯觀的景色。雖然今天天氣一片晴朗，太陽也蠻曬的，但是海邊同樣也是那麼地大風，所以是很冷的哦。我們在那裡逗留了大約兩個小時左右，以為說可以等到太陽下山時，拍個美麗的日落。結果在日落的時候，天空的雲層太多，把整個太陽給遮住了，連太陽都沒能看到，更不用說日落了。唉，有點可惜，不過還算不錯啦，至少知道西海岸還真的蠻美的。下次可以考慮再過來過一夜，應該會很不錯。;)
