The Flight Plan (Part 1)

對於我來說,整個飛行的過程還真的出乎意料地辛苦。很佩服那些常常搭長途飛機的人,說真的,實在有夠“顯”!因為我在整個飛行的時間裡面,真正好好入睡的時間沒有多少,尤其是從檳城飛往香港的三個小時。睡又不能入睡,想動一動身體都有點難,因為位置實在有點小。除了看著前面那沒得選擇的過時影片以外,就沒什麼好做了。那時真的覺得時間過得好慢!~五個小時。。。

Unexpectedly, the whole flight from Penang -> Hong Kong -> San Francisco -> Portland was a torturing process for me indeed. I was unable to sleep well and hard to move my body around due to the limited space available on my seat. Especially the flight from Penang to Hong Kong, 3 hours of flight got nothing to do except watching the outdated console infront of me, which having no choice of movies or games or music…… I was like feeling why the hours going so slow… =.= 5 hours to go…

Finally I reached Hong Kong International Airport at around 11.30pm! Without any hesitation, I quickly walk around to see if I can find the nice nice hong kong ‘tong sui’ over there. And, this is what i end up with:

終於,十一點三十分左右,我抵達香港國際機場了!我非常期待及興奮地去四周看看有沒有所謂的香港糖水店,結果什麼糖水都沒有,反而看到了這間:

Yup, a taiwanese restaurant. =.=
Other than this, there are no more special restaurant over there. 🙁
So, end up I bought this for my lunch. Guess what, that was exactly HK$50, a Coffee Latte with a Japanese Cheese Cake.

對,就是這間在香港的台灣餐廳。除了這間以外,那裡就只有一些普通的餐廳賣些西餐,糕點,麵包等。就連“老麥”也還在裝修著,結果我就用僅剩的五十元港幣,買了我的午餐:一杯咖啡和日本芝士蛋糕。

Hong Kong International Airport is indeed a very very big airport. Here you can see:

香港國際機場還真的蠻大的,要從一邊走到另一邊也需要一段時間呢。而我的下一站要到三藩市的飛機是在兩點零五分。所以,我就在那兒呆了整一個小時左右。無所事事,也只有周圍走走看看,心裡卻想著待會兒不懂會不會給美國那邊的關口人員給攔住不給過關。。。

My 2nd transit was on 2.05pm. I was waiting in there airport for an hour then continue on with the flight to San Francisco. In fact, I was a bit nervous when boarding the flight. I scared I might not be able to enter US due to some unknown reason…

其實,香港飛往三藩市的飛機確實比之前的飛機好很多了。雖然我還是不能好好入睡,不過至少他們都有不停地為你提供各種各類的飲食和零嘴,讓我覺得好像我全程都在不停的吃一樣。而且,飛機上的控制器也比較新,可以任看很多的影片,聽音樂,玩遊戲等。所以,十個小時多就這樣過去了。。。

Eventually, the flight from Hong Kong -> San Francisco was a lot better than before. Though I still can’t get my sleep well, at least they provide me with a lot of foods, snacks, drinks continuously, which I felt like I was eating and eating during the whole flight non-stop. =.= Well, 10hours+ passed like that with a lot of movies which i was kind of like being forced to watch due to no other things I can do?

十一月五日早上十一點,三藩市,我終於到了!而且很感恩的就是,我也順利地通過關卡,甚至不需要經過第二關卡的檢驗,但是我的同事就沒那麼好運,被盤問了還要經過第二關。不過,都還好我們都過關了。但是,由於我先過關,所以我就一個人先到前面的櫃檯去換取當地的飛行證件。在去的時候,就讓我遇見了一件讓我很“可憐”的事情,就容許我在稍後再分享了。。。

5th November, morning 11am, San Francisco, yes, finally I made it here. And, thank God that I also passed the immigration checkpoint so easily that I don’t even need to go through 2nd checkpoint, which my colleague need. However, there was a ‘poor’ incident happen to me when I was on the way to exchange my domestic flight ticket, which I shall continue later in this 2nd part……
