Portland Baroque Orchestra

25th of March, Sunday. Today I attended my first ever Orchestra @ Kaul Auditorium, Reed College. How I got the ticket? Well, I got it free from my colleagues because they were so lucky being selected for the GPTW event. Honestly, I always wanted to experience the real “Orchestra” feel since long time ago. I think it’s kind of hard to have this event back in Penang, now I got the chance, definitely I won’t miss this. 😉

三月二十五日，星期日。今天我出席了一項很難得的管弦樂盛會，真的讓我體驗勝多。我是如何拿到票？其實，那是從同事的手上拿到的，公司有免費分發這些管弦樂的票給一些員工，這麼剛好他們竟然被抽中，所以就有了這難得的一次體驗。老實說，我老早就很想親身體驗管弦樂隊的表演了，但是在檳城，的確比較少有這樣的演出，現在有這機會，我當然不會錯過啦。

The Orchestra starts at 3pm. But we need to be there around 1.30pm to collect the tickets. Since the weather is so good, and the auditorium is actually inside the Reed College, we also took the chance to stroll around Reed College, took some pictures and also experience the long missed “University” feel. 🙂

那管弦樂的表演是在下午三點才開始，但是我們必須到那裡去索取那些免費的票，所以就索性早點下去，在大學學院的周圍逛逛，看看校園不同的景色，拍一些的照片，也順便重新體會一下大學的環境。

Well, the Orchestra was really good. Finally I know what is an Orchestra. Love the musics, the instruments, and the performers. They really enjoyed in the whole performance, and gave us the best experience that I’d never know if I was not there personally.

其實，那管弦樂的演出真的很棒。我終於體會到所謂的管線樂了！真的很開心，也很喜歡他們的演奏，音樂，樂器，還有每一個演出者。他們真的都很享受他們本身的演出，也讓我自己真正體會到管弦樂的震撼，真的很棒。:)
