24th February, Thursday. The weather is getting colder these few days. And, today is snowing!~

20th February, Sunday. Today I followed my colleague went to the tallest waterfall in Oregon: Multnomah Falls.

According to wiki, Multnomah Falls is the third tallest waterfall in US. The total height of this waterfall is about 620 feet. It is located near the Columbia River Gorge. You can get a scenic view of the river from the top of the waterfall. To get to the top of the waterfall, you’ll need to climb up the hills like 1mile before you can reach there. Well, I’ve been quite a while didn’t exercise that much. Felt the toughness walking up the hills in fact. >.< Anyway, that was really a nice place to experience the falls, the splashes of water, the scenery, and the trails of course. 🙂

19th February, 2011 Saturday. There is a Winter Celebration event in Memorial Coliseum, hold by our company’s GPTW (Great Place To Work).
The event was made primarily for family fun. Hence, you can bring your family members along to attend this event. The event includes a lot of kids activities like Radio Disney, Wii stations, inflatables, carnival games, etc. For adults like us, we have Ice skating, food and beverages, as well as beer garden. At night, 5000 seats had been given out for the Ice Hockey game.

二月十九日，星期六。今天在波特蘭的運動館有個特別的冬季活動，是公司特別為所有員工而預備的。這也算是個屬於家庭歡樂的活動，所以員工們都可以攜帶家眷出席這次的活動。那裡的活動場地還蠻大的，還設有很多的活動讓員工和家人一起玩樂，比如各樣的小孩子玩意兒，迪士尼頻道，各樣的遊戲機，充氣玩具，遊戲攤檔等，真的可以讓那些小孩子玩得不亦樂乎。至於大人們嘛，就只有簡單的滑冰，無限的食物，飲料，當然還有美國人最喜愛的啤酒啦。而且，在晚上還有冰球的比賽，真是一場難得的盛會。

18th February, 2011 Friday. President of US, Barack Obama visited us this morning! Did I get the chance to see him in person? That’s a NO. 🙁 Only 150 lucky employees got the chance, too bad huh. Anyway, that was really a rare event over here, a president’s visit to a Fab, in fact Obama is the second president to visit Intel facility. And because of that, roads closed, security been wired up in everywhere, some managers in JF (Jones Farm) even asked their employees to WFH (work from home), even though president is going to visit RA (Ronler Acres) only! (JFs and RAs are different buildings separated with quite some distance). =.=

二月十八日，星期五。今天早上，美國總統奧巴馬竟然大駕光臨英特爾的工廠！但是很可惜我卻沒有機會和他見上一面，因為公司只是限定一百五十人到那裡去參加這項特會。說實在，像這樣的特會還真的非常難得，總統光臨大駕在英特爾的歷史上還只是第二次。也因為這樣，在其光臨的預備工作更是誇張，有幾條的道路被暫時關閉，很多的安全防衛措施突然變得更嚴謹，有些經理甚至吩咐下屬在那天可以直接待在家裡工作就好了，不必上班！原來總統真的是可以那麼“大牌”的。=.=

February 16th, Wednesday. I was going to work as usual. Walked out of my house, I was shocked. How come the rain today seems so ‘white’?!
